Alain Stubbs

I am the Academy's Premises and Services Director. My role within the Academy is to manage the 37 site staff responsible for keeping the Academy and its grounds highly maintained and clean at all times.  I ensure all services ranging from sports to music productions are provided for the use of all students and staff and I am responsible for the Health and Safety of the Academy including Fire Prevention.

I have been employed by Corby Business Academy since January 2008. I was previously a soldier in the Armed Forces, having joined the 2^nd Battalion of The Royal Green Jackets in 1985. I completed my 22 years Army service as a Warrant Officer and during my time in the Army I have been on seven operational deployments including Northern Ireland, Bosnia and the Middle East.

Norman Robinson

I work within the Site Premises department and I am the Academy's Site Supervisor.  I am responsible for opening the Academy. I ensure the whole building is working properly ready for the students and staff to start with their work and supervise the early morning cleaning shift.

I have worked as a building manager in education for the past 20 years and previous to that I owned a garden centre and florist shop.

I have lived in Corby since 1964 and I have been happily married to Lynn for 35 years, I have five daughters and nine grandchildren who keep me very busy.

Les Steed

I work within the Site Premises department and I am the Academy's Site Supervisor.  As part of my building maintenance duties I am also responsible for closing the Academy at the end of the day and handing over the building to Fusion Security who are responsible for the Academy's security during silent hours.

I have worked as a site supervisor in education for three years and before that worked for 40 years as a book keeper within various accounts departments.

Vernon Ingold

I work within the Site Premises department as a Site Supervisor.  My main responsibilities are to keep the technical maintenance of the building in order.

I have worked as a site supervisor in education since 1991 and previously I worked as a teacher in Design Technology since 1969.

I have lived in Corby since 1974 and I am married to Hilary.  I have two children and one granddaughter.

Andrew Shilcock

I work within the Site Premises department as the Academy's Groundsman.  I am responsible for maintaining the outside premises of the Academy including the sports fields and the All Weather Pitch.  I also assist with the DSP allotment and the PNS garden.

I have worked in grounds keeping for 16 years.  My jobs have varied from golf course maintenance to the construction of football pitches such as the new Wembley stadium.  I worked overseas for three years whilst backpacking, as a professional window cleaner on sky scrapers.

I live in Leicester and I am married to Gemma.  We have a two year old young son and I am a big Leicester City fan.  I enjoy playing golf in my spare time.

Anne Rae

I work part time within the Site Premises department as the Cleaning Supervisor for the main cleaning shift. 

I live in Corby and I am married to William.  I have two children and one granddaughter.  My hobby is spoiling my granddaughter who I look after while her parents are at work.
