IT Services

The IT system at Corby Business Academy consists of many different cutting edge technologies brought together to form what is one of the most technologically advanced schools in the UK. The backbone of the network is a hybrid mix of Citrix thin client and standard Server/Client (fat client) systems with an infrastructure built from enterprise class technologies.

With over 400 PCs/Terminals and 50 student laptops, every student in the school has daily exposure to the use of IT across all subject areas. With specialist equipment in various areas all students have access to what they need. For example the design area is equipped with high specification PCs loaded with the latest educational Computer Aided Design software. And with top of the range manufacturing machines, there is an almost limitless choice of design projects available to students.

In my spare time I enjoy experimenting with new technology, listening to most types of music, watching movies and playing on my Xbox 360.
