Corby Business Academy has joined the countless people around the world who have put their bats out in memory of Australian cricket Phillip Hughes.

A cricket bat has been on display in the Academy’s main reception this week in memory of the young sportsman who died at the age of 25 last week after he was struck by a bouncer on the pitch.

CBA Cricket Coach Jordon Joseph said: “This tragedy has brought the cricketing world together.

“We are very passionate about cricket here and we wanted to join the thousands of other people around the world who are paying their respects to Phillip Hughes by putting out their bats.”
