An inspirational author gave a high octane talk to a group of our avid readers.

A group of Year 7, 8 and 9 students had the chance to meet Marcus Alexander when he visited our sister academy, Brooke Weston, earlier this term.

Marcus is well known as the creator of the Keeper of the Realms series and he talked to our students about his life and his books.

CBA Librarian Amy McKay said: “Marcus was very inspirational. He’s travelled the world and he told the students about his travels and urged them to become whatever they want to be.

“Marcus is also into extreme sports so he talked to the students about that too.

“He was very funny and the students really enjoyed meeting him. It was definitely a high octane talk.”
