Academy hosts its first SEN league match

Our Academy has hosted its first ever match as part of the SEN Football League.

Our Academy has hosted its first ever match as part of the SEN Football League.

This term we were invited to play in the special educational needs league, run by Friars Academy, for the first time.

Our Key Stage 3 players competed against Friars earlier in the term and today our Key Stage 4 players competed against Gateway School in our first home match.

Football Coach Richard White said: "I've been very impressed by our players today.

"We've always played on the astroturf in the past so this was our first game on the grass.

"Although we didn't win I was pleased with the way the team played and it's always a good experience to play against a good team like Gateway.”

On November 3rd our Key Stage 3 team will play against Gateway and the following day our Key Stage 4 team will play against Maplefields School.
