More than a dozen students from Unit took part in an exciting residential course at the Frontier Centre in Irthlingborough.

The students spent three days and two nights at the centre where they took part in a range of activities, including raft building, walk the plank, high ropes and climbing challenges.

Unit Assistant Manager Caren Brown said: “Our students were amazing. They all worked well together and developed their social skills throughout the stay.

“Some of our students are quite unsteady on their feet at times but they managed to help each other in the walk the plank exercise.

“They also tackled all the problem solving activities really well and there were some outstanding performances from students like Bradley Jakymowytsh, Sophie Richards, Aaron Cox and Morgan Hadman.

“I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff who volunteered to take part in the trip, including Richard White, Linda McCracken, Jessica Mullen, Vickie Osborne and Gerri Hill.”

During the visit the students also enjoyed a pyjama party and a sing song around a camp fire.
