New Reporting System For Students

A new online reporting system which allows students to report any issues in school or in their community is set to be launched at CBA.

The SHARP System - the School Help Advice Reporting Page - gives schools the chance to address the issues being flagged up.

Students can make a report confidentially by visiting the website and can even send multimedia messages.

With funding in place for the system to be rolled out in all schools in Corby, CBA's PSCO Alex Franklin said he wanted the Academy to be one of the pilot schools.

He said: "The idea is that CBA will be able to look at what is concerning students and adjust any talks or activities to address what they've identified as a potential problem.

"This is something that's been running in schools in other parts of the country and we've had good reports back from there."

Topics on the website include community and health and CBA's Senate was consulted on the themes of the pages.

There is also video footage featuring the likes of Rio Ferdinand as part of a short anti-bullying film.
