New Psychology A level

Sixth Formers will have the chance to study psychology with the start of a new A Level course in September.

The course topics include aggression, relationships, phobias, schizophrenia and eating behaviours.

Teacher Tania Hambly, (pictured with a model of a brain) did her degree in psychology and biology and is leading the course.

She said: "One of the mains aims of the course is to help students understand why people do things. "It can help with lots of different career choices, from nursing and sports science, to working in the police."
