Our New Acting Principal

John Henrys has been appointed as Acting Principal as Dr Andrew Campbell has taken on a new role within the Brooke Weston Partnership.

Mr Henrys will be taking the helm following Dr Campbell's appointment as Deputy Executive Principal of the Brooke Weston Partnership.

Mr Henry's joined CBA in 2009 as Vice Principal responsible for curriculum development following a successful career working with schools across the West Midlands to improve learning standards.

He said:  "It is a great privilege to take on the role as Acting Principal at Corby Business Academy at this important time in the Academy's development.

"Life in the academy is fast paced and constantly changing giving rise to many opportunities both within lessons and outside of normal lesson times.

"I expect every student to engage fully with the opportunities they are given and work hard to maximise future opportunities. The aim is to build upon previous Academy successes and further develop all aspects of academy life in order to ensure that the highest standards are maintained and students are given every opportunity to achieve to their full potential.

"I look forward to continuing to work with students, parents and staff within the academy and wish everyone the best of luck for a successful year."

Dr Campbell said: "John will be managing day to day affairs and will be leading both staff and students in our ongoing drive for improvement.

"In addition to supporting John, my own role this year will be that of Deputy Executive Principal of the Brooke Weston Partnership and will focus on developing new projects whilst also supporting our existing schools.

"I would like to reassure parents that John and I will be working closely together on a daily basis to ensure CBA goes from strength to strength."
