CBA Host's Regional Foreign Language Spelling Bee
Four Year 7 students will be representing the academy at a Foreign Language Spelling Bee.
CBA has the honour of hosting this year’s regional final on March 28th when hundreds of students will be visiting us to take part in the prestigious competition.
In preparation for the event our Year 7 students have been practising their vocabulary, spelling and language skills during lesson time.
An inter-class competition has been taking place over the past few weeks and last week students Chloe Burton, Stephanie Gore-Devlin, Ellie Moore and Kathyrn McQue spelt their way to victory during a Session 4 contest.
Director of Modern Foreign Languages Karen Turney said : "Félicitations et bonne chance pour la compétition."
