The students were given a guided tour by the museum’s Project Coordinator Catherine Roberts and then carried out a series of recorded interviews with members of the public who were visiting.

The recordings are now being used as material for the ten-minute film, which will be screened at the London Museum in September.

Based on the theme of building a truce, the team of students from our Gifted and Talented cohort have spent many weeks researching their topic, interviewing teachers, pupils and family members to help devise a storyboard for the film.

The team are documenting their progress on school’s Radiowaves site.

Gifted and Talented Coordinator Claire Howsam said: “It was just fantastic to visit the museum and the students went off under their own steam, collecting footage of the fantastic artefacts as well as interviewing visitors.

“This is a brilliant project and we are really privileged to have been chosen to partner with the Imperial War Museum on this project.”

Next week a reporter from BBC Radio Northampton will come along to CBA to interview the students about the making of the film.
