Students enjoy Grendon Hall Residential

Zip wires, swamp races and quad biking were just some of the activities students took part in during their three day residential at Grendon Hall.

The group of students from Years 7 to 11 did not let the occasional wet weather get in the way of some serious fun after setting up camp in an authentic Moroccan Yurt.

Activities included plummeting 60 foot on a zip wire, a tricky low ropes course over a muddy swamp, abseiling, raft building, quad biking and archery.

Teacher Kim Isaksen said: “All of the students should be extremely proud of their effort and determination. There was lots of moral support and words of encouragement when students found tasks challenging.

“Highlights included a very muddy swamp race and an entertaining talent show in the yurt with break dancing, singing and acrobatics.”
