Following a successful year as Acting Principal, the Brooke Weston Board of Trustees has made the decision to appoint John Henrys to the permanent position of Principal at Corby Business Academy.

Mr Henrys took the role last year following the secondment of Dr Campbell to the Brooke Weston Trust.

Mr Henrys said: “I’m very happy to be given the opportunity to lead the Academy through the next phase of its development and I look forward to building upon the solid foundations laid by Dr Campbell and the team during the Academy’s first few years.

"The Academy has developed a strong reputation both locally and nationally and I am grateful to be given the chance to lead the staff and students of Corby Business Academy into what promises to be a very exciting future.”

Dr Andrew Campbell from the Brooke Weston Trust said: “I’m delighted that Mr Henrys is going to continue the rapid development and success story that is Corby Business Academy.

“The development of this school has been a large part of my life since 2004 and I look forward to seeing it go from strength to strength in the future.”

Dr Campbell now takes up a role with the Brooke Weston Trust’s Senior Leadership team as Director of School Improvement.
