Student musicians show off their talent at Winter Wonderland concert

Visitors enjoyed an evening of music performed by CBA student musicians at our Christmas Winter Wonderland Concert.
The show took place on Tuesday (December 18th) evening in the main theatre.
CBA’s junior and senior brass ensembles, junior and senior concert bands, string ensemble, string trio, senior woodwind ensemble and CBA Vocalize all took to the stage.
There were solo performances from Beth McGeachie, who sang ‘Winter Wonderland’, Andile Chiwuta, who sang ‘Empty Chairs and Empty Tables’ from Les Miserables, and Rebecca Loveday, who sang ‘In the Bleak Mid-Winter’.
Myles Peters and Aimee Coy performed ‘A Christmas Medley’ together and soloists Andile Chiwuta and Eloise Robertson joined CBA Vocalize for their performance of ‘Go tell it on the mountain’.
The senior concert band finished the show with a Christmas jubilee sing-along, a medley of festive songs which the audience were encouraged to sing along to.
