A group of talented young actors and actresses have performed three plays under nail biting conditions this week.

The 25 Year 11 Drama students performed ‘Twisted’, ‘Blood Brothers’ and ‘Stags and Hens’ in front of GCSE examiners on Monday.

As well as performing in the plays the students organized their own costumes, props and music for the productions.

Drama Teacher Gemma Pringle said: “The students have worked really hard and I am very proud of them.

“The Academy has some fantastic budding actors and actresses and I’ve really enjoyed working with them.”

The students now need to complete any outstanding written work to complete their Drama GCSE.
