A wide variety of talents were on display at our sixth Annual Achievement Awards ceremony.

More than 100 students were presented with awards for their academic and sporting achievements during the past year and with Year 11 and Year 13 examination certificates.

The awards were presented by our Principal John Henrys, the Chairperson of our governing body Kerry James and our keynote speaker for the evening Richard Morrison who is the Business Performance Director of Associated British Foods plc.

Vice Principal Janet Duggan, who compered the evening, said: “These awards acknowledge the outstanding achievement and contribution to the life of the Academy made by some very special students.

“Many of these awards have been donated by our sponsors and we are very grateful for the support they have given the Academy since it opened.”

The event was also attended by a host of local dignitaries, including the Mayor of Corby Anthony Dady, and business representatives.

The vast majority of the students were presented with their awards on the night.

A small number of students who were unable to attend the event were presented with their awards at the Academy at the end of last week.
