Sixth Formers from our Young Enterprise companies have begun holding business meetings with their business advisors.

inscentive Managing Director Georgina Reay, 17,  and Finance Team Member Beth Fennell, 17, had their first official meeting with their advisors Natalie Clarke and Adrian Mole, of R S Components, at the company’s base in Corby last week.

Beth said: “It was a good opportunity for us to see what business meetings are like in the workplace.

“It was great to meet with our business advisors and to ask them for advice about our preparations for the Young Enterprise area final.”

Georgina, 17, added: “The meeting also gave us the chance to learn about networking and developing business relationships.”

CBA Business Teacher Alex Allan said: “These meetings help to bring business to life for our students.

“They also give our students the opportunity to develop their communication, networking and presentation skills.

“We would like to thank R S Components for their ongoing support of students at CBA.”

inscentive and other Young Enterprise company, Tea Time Aromas, will take part in a trade fair at R S Components between 11am and 2pm on February 11th.

inscentive has produced a range of scented candles and Tea Time Aromas has created a sophisticated line of reed diffusers.

Both companies will also compete at the Young Enterprise Corby and Kettering Area Final which will be held at Tresham College in Kettering on March 18th.
