Our young business people are preparing for their next big trade fair.

Sixth Formers and Year 11 students from our three Young Enterprise companies, Happy Hands UK, inscentive and Tea Time Aromas, will sell their products at the R S Components Trade Fair next week.

Unit Teacher Nikki Clark works with the students from Happy Hands UK which sells a range of products, including aprons, chalkboards, bracelets, tea cup candles, tea cup pincushions and tea cup bird feeders.

She said: “Our students have put in a lot of effort to get ready for this trade sale.

“They hope to make lots of sales and are hoping to win the award for Best Trade Stand at the event.”

Tea Time Aromas has created a line of reed diffusers and inscentive has produced a range of scented candles.

Business Teacher Alex Allan, who works with the students from Tea Time Aromas and inscentive, said: “The students have been working very hard to prepare for this event.

“They have increased their production and have been preparing gifts which will be perfect for Valentine’s Day.

“They recognize that Valentine’s Day is a key market and both their products are ideally suited to take advantage of this.

“I’ve been very impressed with the students’ ongoing commitment to their businesses and once again we are very grateful to R S Components for their support.”

At the end of last month Tea Time Aromas and inscentive also took part in a large trade sale at The Centre in Milton Keynes.

Miss Allan said: "Both companies performed very well at Milton Keynes and conducted themselves very professionally.

"Our companies didn't add to their growing number of awards on that occasion but we were delighted that a Young Enterprise company from our sister school, Brooke Weston Academy, won an award for Best Customer Service at the event and we would like to offer them our congratulations."

The event at R S Components will take place on Wednesday 11^th February and is open to R S Components staff.
