GCSE students attend inspirational workshop

Our Year 11 students started the year with a special workshop to help them prepare for their GCSEs.

Our Year 11 students started the year with a special workshop to help them prepare for their GCSEs.

The workshop by Live-N-Learn helped the students to develop a positive mind set for their exams and opened their eyes to the opportunities available to them in life.

It also included inspirational videos and encouraged the students to work hard to achieve their goals and to develop useful skills such as good time management.

Vice Principal Ruth Hurcombe said: “The workshop provided our students with a great opportunity to prepare themselves for the year ahead.

“It emphasized to them the importance of being organised and managing their time well.

“It encouraged them to strive to achieve everything they possibly can this year.”

Our workshop was delivered by Live-N-Learn’s Central South England Regional Manager Ann Marie Robinson who is also a professional actress.

She has worked on a number of popular programmes including Channel 4’s Brookside, BBC’s Doctors and ITV’s Heartbeat.
