Textiles students will visit The Clothes Show
A number of our GCSE Textiles students will have the opportunity to visit The Clothes Show.
A number of our GCSE Textiles students will have the opportunity to visit The Clothes Show.
The Year 9 and 10 students will visit Britain's Fashion Festival at NEC Birmingham on December 8th 2015.
During their visit they will watch a fashion show, view the latest collections heading to the High Street and carry out product analysis.
Textiles Teacher Abbie Parsons said: “We hope the visit will instil creativity and passion in our students.
“The exam boards look for pieces that are imaginative and innovative and we hope this visit will be an inspiration for our students as they work on their coursework.
“The visit will also give our students the chance to meet representatives from more than 25 of the UK’s top universities and ask them crucial questions about higher education.”
Our students will be joined during the visit by a group of students from our sister school, Kettering Science Academy.
