RS Components staff work with our Sixth Formers

Managers from a major global company have once more generously donated their time to work with our students.

Managers from a major global company have once more generously donated their time to work with our students.

Staff from RS Components will carry out mock interviews with our Year 13 students to help them prepare for interviews with employers.

As part of the initiative our students will also be required to investigate the importance of recruitment and planning within businesses, the methods companies use to recruit staff and relevant legislation.

CBA Director of Business Studies Alex Allan said: “It will be a good opportunity for our students to promote themselves and their skills.

“The staff from RS Components will judge the students on how successful they have been. It’s a good example of how CBA involves businesses to help bring business to life for our students.

“We would like to say a big thank you to RS Components for their invaluable help.”

RS Components Global Content Editor Juliet Rogers will take part in the initiative.

She said: “We’re delighted to continue our links with Corby Business Academy.

“We always enjoy coming to this school. It gives us a good opportunity to spot potential employees for the future.”
