Can you take on the Diamond Challenge?

Our staff members are being encouraged to take part in a special Duke of Edinburgh challenge.

Our staff members are being encouraged to take part in a special Duke of Edinburgh challenge.

The Diamond Challenge is open to everyone, including adults over the age of 25, and celebrates the Duke of Edinburgh Awards’ Diamond Jubilee.

Throughout 2016 people will be asked to choose a challenge from three Duke of Edinburgh inspired themes and raise a minimum of £60 for the charity.

CBA Duke of Edinburgh Co-ordinator Natasha Barstow said: “It’s an opportunity for parents and staff members to get involved with the Duke of Edinburgh Awards and show our students that they are prepared to challenge themselves.

“We have already started to put together a staff team but we would be pleased to welcome more staff members who are interested in taking part.

“If you manage to raise £60 for the charity you receive a Duke of Edinburgh Diamond pin.”

To complete the challenge entrants must learn a skill, embark on an adventure or conquer a personal challenge and raise £60.

It costs adults £20 to enrol in the scheme.

Staff who want further information can contact Mrs Barstow at NBarstow@corbybusinessacademy.org
