Our students represented the district in four different sports at the county’s School Games final.

Our best results were recorded by our Key Stage 4 Rowing Team which came second and our Year 7 Girls’ Basketball Team which came third.

Our Year 7 Sportshall Athletics Girls and Key Stage 3 Girls’ Badminton Team also put in good performances at the event.

CBA Director of PE Amy Harris said: “We have never had so many teams in the final before and it shows that the changes we have made to our Session 4 Sports Clubs this year have paid off.

“Our Key Stage 4 Rowing Team and our Year 7 Basketball Team did particularly well at the final.

“All our competitors put in a lot of hard work after school to get ready for the competition and we would like to congratulate them all.”
