Film Club Set For General Release

CBA’s popular Film Club is returning for a second season.

The lights will go down on the first movie on Thursday, September 24 at 3.45pm in the little theatre.

Harry Potter fans are in for a treat, as the first film to be screened will be Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone  -  an adaptation of the first book in JK Rowling's phenomenal fantasy series.

Throughout the year a variety of different genres will be shown to cater for all tastes.

Film Club organiser Ian Nicol said: "The Film Club was a great success during the last academic year ad so students will be glad that it's returning.

"We hope to have as good a response this year and we have many exciting titles lined up."

Students must become members to join the club and the invitation is also open to staff.

To become a member, students must ask their parents to fill in one of the consent forms that can be obtained from student reception. The form should be returned to reception and students will receive a membership pass (which they will need to watch the film).

The Film Club also has a website which members can use to search the film library.

Members can log on at www.filmclub.org
