New Deputy Head Boy Arron Wilkins and Deputy Head Girl Bobbi Devlin will assist them in their duties. The rest of the senior student team will be made up with Ambassadors – Louie Anderson, Courtney Smith, Josh Rogers and Emma McNeill.

There was recently a special tea party held to welcome the new team to their roles and to thank the outgoing team for their work.

Principal Janina Taylor and Head of Sixth Form Sam Anderson made speeches whilst last years Head Boy Jack Green and Head Girl Evie Berrry thanked their fellow team members and wished the new team good luck, before sharing hints and tips over tea and cake.

Principal Janina Taylor said ‘Thank you very much to the outgoing team for your valuable contribution to the Academy during the last year. This year is my first at the Academy and I have to say how welcome I was made to feel by the team. I am now looking forward to working with the new team.’

Head of Sixth Form Sam Anderson said ‘Each year I’m more and more impressed with the standard of the candidates. Last year’s team have done a great job so I am looking forward to the new team following closely in their footsteps.’
