Poets Who Do Know It

The Library was abuzz with the rhythmic sounds of future Wordsworths and Shelleys for National Poetry Day celebrations.

Students were challenged to take part in a variety of poetic activities, including recitals, limerick writing and speedy tongue-twister competitions.

The annual event is always a great opportunity to celebrate students' love of poetry and remind them that poetry is fun.

Callum Cresswell proved he has CBA's twistiest tongue and Bradley Thompson wrote the following gardening club-inspired poem:

There once was a small chap called Aaron,
Who grew veg from a plot that was barren.
The harder he tried
The louder he cried.
Coz he couldn't grow marrows like Darren!
