Unit Students Back Adrenaline Alley’s Bid For Disabled Area

Students from the Unit have been supporting Adrenaline Alley’s funding bid to develop an area that can be accessed by all.

The skate park is in the running for cash from The People's Millions but needs your votes to win.

Special Needs Teacher Nikki Clark and Jackie Hanlon took some students along to Adrenaline Alley so they could experience the thrills and excitement of the skate park.

They were filmed by ITV and could appear when the show airs on Tuesday (November 23rd) at 6pm.

The new FreeWheelin disability area will extend Adrenaline Alley so that it can also be used by young people with disabilities for BMX, cycling, skateboarding and inline skating activities in a safe environment.

The new area will incorporate a specialist ramp park area and will give young people an opportunity to participate in mainstream urban sports culture which they would not normally have access to.

The telephone number to vote will appear on www.adrenalinealley.co.uk on Tuesday or watch Anglia ITV at 6pm for more details.
