CBA’s Annual Achievement Awards

Students who have worked exceptionally hard, shown initiative or excelled at CBA will be rewarded at the Academy’s Achievement Awards ceremony next week.

Those who have been nominated for an award will now have received their letter inviting them to the ceremony on Tuesday, July 12th.

There will be awards for each Faculty before the prize-winners are announced.

Categories include Independent Working, Creative Thinking, Group Work, Citizenship, Community, Enterprise, Spirit of CBA and the Student of the Year Award (pictured are some of last year's winners).

Sponsors of the awards this year include Impress, RS Components, Priors Hall Park, Roquette and Corby Borough Council.

Staff have been submitting their nominations for each category and there have been some tough decisions about who should win.

This year's key note speaker is Duncan Mills, the Strategic Planning Manager for Northamptonshire County Council. Duncan has been a key figure in education in Corby for many years and is now responsible for schools which are converted to academies.

The audience will include families and representatives from local businesses.

Keep visiting this website for the full list of winners.

All families who have been invited to the awards should RSVP by emailing Robbie Henderson on rhenderson@corbybusinessacademy.org or by calling 01536 303120, by 3pm today.
