There were some decisive wins for the team in what proved to be a very successful season.

They defeated Lodge Park 3-2, King John 5-1, Kettering Buccleuch Academy 1-0 and Kings Cliff 8-1.

Coach Stuart Baker said: "In all games the boys played a good standard of football and represented the Academy well with their effort and attitude.

"We also entered the national competition this year and were unfortunate to lose in the third round on penalties.

"I believe the squad will get stronger and will have a successful season again next year - well done to all those who have took part."

The team members are: Timothy Beeby; Oskar Farley-McFadyen; Joseph Holmes; Billy Frohmaier; Daniel Bottrill; Sydney Kwambana; Ryan Linnell; William Bell; Danny Draper; Aiden Gallagher; Corey Davies; Robbie Hart; George Rielly; Connor Smith; Jamie Delargy; Ethan Delargy and Bradley Marshall.

The team recently enjoyed a trip to Liverpool FC with a tour round Anfield.
