Next Week – Farmhouse Breakfast
A new selection of breakfast options will be trialled in our restaurant next week (January 23rd to 27th) as part of national Farmhouse Breakfast Week.
Along with schools and workplaces across the country we will be getting involved in the initiative to promote healthy eating at breakfast time.
Each day there will be two new options introduced and the menu will include healthy breakfasts such as baked tomatoes on wholemeal soda bread, banana and honey breakfast loaf, breakfast hash with a poached egg and homemade oatcakes with a scrambled egg and baked sausage.
Restaurant Manager Chris Lapsley said: “I have personally selected the recipes that will be on offer and there is a wide choice available.
“I have ensured there are plenty of oats, fibre and fruit. If there are any particular favourites we will incorporate them into our breakfast specials range.”
Students will have the healthy breakfast options also have the opportunity to win £1000 holiday vouchers.
