The CBA cricketers were busy during the Easter break preparing for the start of this year’s season.

15 students attended a training day on Thursday, April 5th as part of final preparations before the first game of the season against sister school Brooke Weston on May 2nd.

The students, who play for the Under 13 team, took part in some non cricket related team building activities in the morning session before some intensive game play in the afternoon.

The team also took part in a pre-season match against Desborough Town on April 13th and won by 7 wickets.

Man of the Match was Year 7 student Jack Green who only started playing the sport when he joined CBA in September. Jonathan Freeman (pictured) also scored 50 not out.

Cricket Coach Jordon Joseph said: “The team have put in a lot of training over the holiday and we are ready for what we hope will be another successful season.”
