Top orchestra inspires students
Sixth Formers Music Students watched a performance of one of the country’s best orchestras.
The A Level students travelled to Birmingham Symphony Hall on May 9th to watch the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestras’ Once Upon A Time performance which featured the music of Ravel, Prokofiev and Kazuki Yamada.
They also visited the musid college Birmingham Conservatoire.
Director of Music Clive Wears said: “It was great for the students to hear an orchestra of such quality and at the Conservatoire they were given a talk by one of the students who gave an insight into what life would be like as a student there.”
