Our Year 7 basketball girls team won every single match at their latest tournament.

The team competed against Brook Weston, Corby Technical School, King John and Lodge Park and went on to beat Brook Weston in the final.

Active teachers Natasha Dunstone and James Aston ran the event.

Miss Dunstone said: “The girls won every single game and will now go on to the county stage of the tournament.

“They played really well and I was very proud of them all.

“I’d like to congratulate them all on their achievement.”

The team was made up of Bethany Hughes, Lauren McMullen, Evie Anderson, Jessica Gibbons and Milica Tovilovic.

A number of other students helped out at the tournament.

Onyi Enwerem, Erica Turner and Joseph Samuels-Hammond scored and Andile Chiwuta, David Graham and Mason Lenaghan refereed.
