Dear Parent/Carer Humanities Trip to Poland - 2nd-6th July 2012
The Humanities Department is planning a residential visit to Poland during the week beginning 2nd July 2012. This is part of the Academy enterprise week, and is for Year 10 and Year 12 students only.
The cost of the trip will be £530 and this will include flights to Poland, travel and accommodation on a Full Board basis. Your child will need to have a passport.
During the 4 day visit we shall be visiting Auschwitz and Birkenau concentration camps, Schindlers Factory and the Jewish quarter. There will also be an opportunity to go ten pin bowling on an evening. This trip will greatly help students studying the GCSE and A level history course, as the history of the Holocaust is a key component of the exam paper on both courses. There are forty four places available and it will be filled on a first come first served basis. To book your place on this trip you will need to bring a £100 deposit by the 30th November 2011. Due to the cost of this trip you can pay by instalments but all monies must be paid by the end of April. Please be aware that all trip monies are non refundable. In the case of students needing to withdraw from a trip for a medical reason, a medical certificate will need to be provided.

January 20th - £100 February 24th - £100 March 23rd - £100 April 20th - £130 Final payment
