Dear Parent / Carer

As you are aware your son / daughter has instrumental lessons at Corby Business Academy.  It is an expectation that your son / daughter attend the Junior Concert Band.

The Concert Band will rehearse weekly on a Tuesday from 3.45-4.30pm.  Throughout the year the Band will perform in numerous exciting competitions and concerts.  The Band will be making their debut at the Christmas Concert to be held in the theatre at Corby Business Academy on Wednesday 14^th December.  This is certainly a date to keep free in your diary!

If for any reason you cannot attend a rehearsal, a letter must be handed to me explaining your absence.  The late bus will be available for anyone needing transport home.

I would be grateful if you could fill in the attached permission slip and return it to Mr Wears in the Music Department.  If you have any queries with regard to instrumental tuition or the Junior Concert Band please do not hesitate to contact me at cwears@corbybusinessacademy.org.
