Mayor’s Charity Show (CBA Vocalize) C Wears

Dear Parent / Carer,
CBA Vocalize have been asked to take part in the Mayor’s Charity Show entitled ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ on Saturday 3rd March at The Core at Corby Cube. The show will celebrate all things ‘Glee’ and will be a mixture of songs from the world of pop and musical theatre. The Concert will feature performances by all four Corby Secondary Schools. This will be a fabulous opportunity to perform in the setting of a professionally run theatre.
There will be two performances, one at 3.00pm and one at 7.30pm. On the day itself students need to arrive at the Core at 1.30pm for a quick rehearsal before the first performance. The final performance will finish at approx 9.00pm. Students will need to bring with them a packed lunch for tea. Students will be given a tour of the facilities of both the Council Chambers and the Core between performances. They will be supervised at all times. For the performances students need to wear blue or black jeans and a plain colourful (non logo) t-shirt. If you would like to attend any of the performances tickets are available from the Core box office in Corby.
As well as our usual Monday rehearsals we will have an extra rehearsal at The Core on Tuesday 28th February from 10.00am-12.00pm during normal school time. We will travel by coach to the Core.
I would be grateful if you could fill in the reply slip below giving your son/ daughter permission to attend the rehearsal and performances for the Mayor’s Show. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to get in contact with either Mrs Cornish or myself.
