Valentine’s Disco (Year 7)

January 2012

Re: Valentine’s Disco (Year 7)

Dear Parent/Carer

The Year 11 prom committee will be holding the annual Valentine's disco exclusively for the Year 7 students on the 9th February which will be held in the large theatre at Corby Business Academy. The purpose for this event is to provide year 7 students with a fun and entertaining evening for the end of term. The Prom committee and staff will provide students with a disco, games and activities to ensure a fun filled evening within a safe environment. The event has been successfully held for the last three years and students enjoy the opportunity to socialise with friends.

Students wishing to attend will be able to purchase tickets from student reception at a cost of £2.00 with all proceeds supporting the Year 11 prom. Late buses will be booked specifically for the Year 7's only for their transport home at 5.45pm. Alternatively, you can collect your son/daughter from the Academy. Please ensure all students sign up for the late bus through CBA Central where they will specify the form of transport home. Students are able to bring their own clothing to change into for the evening with the theme being 'Red'. If you wish, your child may bring in some money to purchase drinks/snacks and chocolate love hearts at 10p each.

Also available on the night there will be the opportunity for your son/daughter to have their face painted at a cost of 50p, if your child has any allergies to face paints please return slip at the bottom.

We would be extremely grateful for your support and if you have any questions regarding the event, please do not hesitate to contact me on aharris@corbybusinessacademy.org or by phoning the Academy.

Yours Sincerely

Amy Harris
