Year 11 students ended the year in style when they dressed to impress at their Prom.

Nearly 130 students came together for the celebration at the Holiday Inn in Corby on Friday 27th June following months of hard work and examinations.

The girls would have rivaled any catwalk in their glamorous evening dresses and the boys wore their best suits

Some students also made a grand entrance to the Prom by arriving in a variety of exciting forms of transport, including sports cars, limousines and a horse drawn carriage, in front of large crowds of proud parents.

Director of Active, Amy Harris, helped to organize the Prom.

She said: “Everyone had a fantastic night – I think it was the best prom yet.

“I would like to thank all the Prom Committee for its hard work.

“The students have been brilliant – they raised about £2,000 so they could pay for decorations and things like the photo booth and a chocolate fountain.

“I’d also like to thank Mike Brown Photographic, Nuts About Sweets for providing a sweet cart, ASC Photography Solutions for providing a photo booth and all the staff at the Holiday Inn.”

The Prom Committee was made up of Megan Devlin, Taila Miller, Ellie Harman, Nevena Planinac, Courtney Haggart, Aimee Warrior, Jessica Sawford and Chloe Anne Morrison.
