A group of our keen young rugby players visited Twickenham as part of the RFU’s All Schools Rugby programme.

The students from Years 7, 8 and 9 joined other talented players from across Northamptonshire on the visit to Twickenham where they watched a varsity game between Oxford and Cambridge.

They also visited the World Rugby Museum which contains more than 25,000 pieces of memorabilia.

CBA Rugby Coach Phil Woolley accompanied our students on the trip.

He said: “It was a good trip and the students had a great time.

“The museum was very interesting. It was great to find out about the history of the game and how it started.

“The students also enjoyed watching the game between Oxford and Cambridge. It was inspiring for them to see a live game performed at that level.”
