An open evening will be held on Tuesday 6th October for Year 11 students who are interested in joining our Sixth Form in 2016.

The event will take place from 5pm to 7pm and will give students, parents and carers the chance to meet our Sixth Form team and explore our post-16 provision.

There will be presentations from subject teachers on A Level and BTEC subjects and information about enrichment opportunities and transport.

CBA Head of Sixth Form Samantha Anderson said: “This summer saw the best ever Year 12 and Year 13 outcomes for the Academy with the AS results exceeding last year’s national averages. 

“In addition to this the number of students obtaining A* to B grades also increased significantly.

“We highly recommend that all Year 11 students and parents attend this open evening to find out more about the opportunities we have available.”

Mrs Anderson will give formal presentations at 5pm and 6pm in the Main Theatre.

Finally, our career support service, Timely Advice, will be available to offer independent advice to students about alternative post-16 options.
