Our talented musicians are busy preparing for a major competition which will be held later this month.
Our Junior Concert Band, our Senior Concert Band and our Big Band will perform at the regional final of the prestigious National Concert Band Festival in Nottingham.
The festival is the UK’s largest wind band and big band festival and at last year’s regional heat our Senior Concert Band won Gold and our Big Band won Silver.
CBA Director of Music Clive Wears said: “The rehearsals have been going very well and our students are really looking forward to taking part in the festival.
“We won Gold and Silver last year and we hope to put in even better performances this year.
“We would really like to make it through to the national final.”
The regional final will take place on Sunday 15th November at Nottingham High School.
