Biscuits made by student bakers go on sale

Students and staff got the chance to taste biscuits baked during the first round of the CBA bake off competition when they went on sale at lunch.

Seven students competed in the first round of the contest during Session 4 on Wednesday last week and the second group of contestants will compete to bake the best biscuit at the next session this week.

Contestants will compete every other week on a variety of baking tasks.

All of the food which is made will then be available in the CBA restaurant the next day.

At last week's bake off, the judges Chris Lapsley and Cath Davis tasted one of each of the students’ biscuits before choosing Diana Olahova and Joshua Rodgers (pictured) as the winners.

All of the students competing in the bake off will accumulate points over the weeks of the competition and the baker with the most points at the end will be named the winner.
