Students, friends and family are being urged to support our Senior Dance Company at a charity dance competition.

Our dancers will be taking part in the event on Friday 21st June at 7.30pm at the Best Western Hotel, Rockingham Road, Corby.

It is being held in aid of Macy’s Memory, a local charity that supports families with terminally ill children.

The Senior Dance Company will be competing alongside a number of popular professional dance schools from around Northamptonshire.

The competition will be judged by a panel of four judges, including  professional street dancers Jake Stephens and Rob Ross.

Ellie Mae Moore, Student Senior Dance Company teacher, said: “This a great opportunity for the group to take part in. It’s something different for us to do and is the first dance competition that the Company has entered.

“All the girls have been working really hard at lots of extra rehearsals that have been taking place.

“The company need all the support they can get, so we’re encouraging students, family and friends to come along and support the event to show as much team spirit as possible.”

Tickets are £4 and are available to buy on the night.
