Year 7 Geography Biome Homework Competition

Year 7 students learnt about various biomes across the world last term.

As part of their Geography homework project, students were asked to create a 3D biome on an ecosystem of their choice. There was a plethora of amazing ecosystems from the polar, hot desert, tropical rainforest and coniferous forest biomes. They had the holiday period and after school to plan and create their project.

The hundreds of biomes received were judged by all the Geography teachers. It was very tricky to decide out of the entries. However, after hours of deliberation, we decided to pick our final three.

Our winners Victor, Harry and Nathan earned a certificate, Amazon voucher and Fish Friday lunch with the Geography department!

We look forward to the Year 7’s upcoming homework project where they have been asked to create a board game about their favourite Geography topic this term.
