A new scheme which will give students who join our Sixth Form next year the chance to buy subsidised Google Chromebooks will be a launched with an information evening.

Parents and prospective Year 12 and 13 students are being invited to come along to the E Learning launch evening on Wednesday (June 19^th) from 6pm to 7pm at CBA.

The Academy has decided to commit £10,000 to subsidising the laptops and a further £300,000 for improving the school network to accommodate the new technology.

Head of Sixth Form, Kim Isaksen, said: “The launch evening will be an opportunity to see some of the Chromebooks and to understand how they will be used in the Academy to promote independent learning.”
