Dear Parent / Carer,

The Jazz Band has been asked to perform in a Concert for Anthony Dady, outgoing Mayor of Corby Borough.  The Concert is due to take place at 7.00pm on Saturday 23^rd May 2015 at the Core Theatre, Corby.  The aim of the concert is to raise money for the Mayor’s charities.   There will be many different groups performing at the Concert as well as Corby Business Academy Jazz Band.

Students need to arrive at the Core Theatre for a rehearsal commencing at 3.30pm on Saturday 23^rd May.  Students need to wear school uniform apart from their blazer.  We will instead wear waist coats which need to be picked up from the Music Department on Friday 22^nd May.  Students will need a long sleeved white shirt to wear with their waist coat.  Students will also need to be responsible for their own instruments (apart from amps / drum kit) which will be provided on the day.  Students will of course be supervised at all times.

We will be performing in the first half of the concert which concludes at approx. 8.10pm.  Students can either leave at the end of the first half or stay and listen to the remainder of the concert.  I understand tickets are free and are available from the box office at the Core Theatre.
