  • CBA Library Poetry Competition 2023

    To coincide with ‘World Poetry Day’ and ‘Poem in your pocket day’ CBA Library launched a poetry competition, where students could submit their entries to win a copy of ‘Life is sad and Beautiful’ by Hussain Manawer.

    During their recent Library lessons, Year 7 and 8 were asked to produce their own ‘Blackout Poetry’ with which they could use to enter the competition. We received over 100 entries to the competition that was judged by our very own Mr McCormick from the English department.

    We were delighted to announce the following students as our winner and runner ups:

    Winner – Rowan – Year 7

    Runner-Ups - Zuzanna M – Year 7 and Caitlin – Year 8
