Students Interview The Principal for BBC Radio Programme

A team of student reporters grilled the Principal this morning as part of a BBC review of the first Academy year.

Questions about the challenges faced in the first year, career prospects for students, our business links and the Academy timetable were on the list of questions put to Dr Campbell by the reporters.

The students who took part in the Question and Answer Session were made up of from the Gifted and Talented programme who put together the current edition of our termly CBA magazine In Press.

Sixth Form Student Luke Wardle who asked Dr Campbell a question about the largest challenge faced this year said: "Today was an interesting insight into how much work goes into running the Academy, it will be interesting for someone to do this again in five, and then ten years time."

Their questions were recorded by BBC reporter Martin Borley and will be aired on the BBC Radio Northampton Breakfast show in the last week of term. (July 12th to July 17th).

The full interview will also be posted onto the BBC Northampton website and a link will appear on our own CBA website.
