Academy Travel Plan Moving Forward

As part of the plan, the car parks (both staff and parent), the traffic calming measures, cycle routes and transport have been considered.
The travel plan is part of the Academy's healthy schools initiative.
Vice Principal Sarah Ashby said: "We have held an extensive consultation and have met with the county council's travel plan officer, who will work with us to put together the plan."
The travel plan was also discussed at the recent parents' forum and will now go to the Senate.
The Senate itself has decided to try and tackle the lack of public bus transport for parent to the CBA site, by joining forces with councillor John McGhee.
They hope to meet with transport bosses to talk through a new service.
