Get Bernie On Her Bike

A campaign has been launched to get our CBA Library Assistant to take up a new hobby.

The Get Bernie On Her Bike appeal has been launched by Principl Andrew Campbell, who has become fed up of hearing excuses  as to why Bernie will not  get on the saddle.

Bernie, was recently bought a new bike for her birthday by her husband Paul, but as yet has not even ridden the bike down her street.

The mother of two, has a whole list of reasons as to why she will not put her foot to the pedal.

She said: "Dr Campbell says he is fed up with my excuses which are: 'I've never had a bike and so am not sure if I can even ride one; I don't want to get it dirty and my bell is not up to scratch!'

"However, if someone comes up with a challenge I think I would have a go at it."

CBA Librarian Amy McKay has suggested that a petition be started and if we can get 100 signatures then Bernie will have to bring her bike to school and complete at least 10 laps of the car park.

The petition is available to sign in the CBA library.

It is also hoped that Bernie will take on a longer charity bike ride once she finds her cycling rhythm.
